Acts 15:21

[The reason for these four rules of conduct is that] Moses has had his preachers in all cities since ancient times, and [his words are read aloud] in the synagogues every Sabbath. [In synagogues around the world, the books of Moses were read through every year. The rules in Lev. 17–18 were well known.]
