Acts 23:9

A great uproar (tumult) began, and some of those who belonged to the Pharisee party stood up and argued their case [the resurrection of the dead]. They said, "We see no evil (wrong) in this man. But if a spirit has spoken to him or an angel..." [The sentence is incomplete and is a so-called aposiopesis. Presumably, the tumult becomes so great that the Pharisees are interrupted in the middle of their speech.]
