First letter to the Corinthians 6:11

Some of you have been like this.
But you have been washed clean,
but you have been sanctified,
but you have been declared righteous
in the name of the Lord Jesus the Anointed One (Messiah, Christ)
and in the Spirit
of our God.
[These six lines belong together. You have been washed clean in the baptism of Jesus, see Rom. 6:3. The Holy Spirit is the one who sanctifies, and God is the one who justifies, see Rom. 8:33.]
