Ephesians 5:4

Let there also be no:
shamelessness (indecency, obscene gestures and speech),
foolish (thoughtless, frivolous) speech
and vulgar dirty jokes (sarcastic irony; which is not appropriate).
Instead, raise your voice in gratitude [to God].
[This is the only time these three words are used in the New Testament. The first word, Gk. aischrotes, describes things that are shameful and dirty and includes gestures, etc. The second word, Gk. moro-logia, describes foolish and frivolous speech. The third word is eu-trapelia, where eu means "smooth/easy" and trapelia means "to bend/turn." Originally, it described an ability to adapt and keep up with a conversation, and was one of Aristotle's virtues. However, the word later came to be used for crude, indecent jokes.]
