James 3:17

[Now follow eight points describing true wisdom. The contrast to worldly wisdom (which is demonic and causes disorder, see verse 16) is great, and this is made clear by the structure and Greek word choice. The wisdom from above is described in fine harmony with several alliterations. Central to this are six words beginning with the Greek letter epsilon (ε), surrounded by words beginning with the letter alpha (α).]
But the wisdom from above is first and foremost
pure [God's wisdom is holy, unblemished],
then (it is also):
peaceful (completely tranquil),
gentle (forgiving, forgiving)
accommodating (compliant, open; willing to listen),
filled with
mercy
and good fruits,
impartial
and sincere.
