First letter of John 1:3

What we [the apostles] have seen (experienced) and heard, we report (proclaim, tell) to you, so that you too may choose to be part of our fellowship [share in our firsthand experience of Jesus' life].
Our fellowship is with the Father
and with his Son, Jesus the Anointed One (Messiah, Christ).
