First Samuel 28:20

And Saul fell full length on the ground and was very afraid because of Samuel's words. And there was no strength in him, for he had eaten no bread all day or all night. [Saul had apparently fasted in preparation for this visit. Ironically, he practiced religious devotion in order to break God's commandment.]
