"Go up to Hilkiah (Hebr. Chilqijah), the high priest, and have him count the silver that has been brought into the house of the Lord (Yahweh), which the doorkeepers have collected from the people,
And Hilkiah, the high priest, said to Shaphan, the scribe, "I have found the Torah scroll in the house of the Lord (Yahweh)." And Hilkiah gave the scroll to Shaphan, and he read it.
And Shafan the scribe told the king, saying, "Hilkiah (Hebr. Chilqijaho), the priest, has given me a scroll." And Shafan read it before the king.
And the king commanded Hilkiah the priest, and Ahikam the son of Shaphan, and Achbor the son of Micaiah, and Shaphan the scribe, and Asaiah the king's servant, saying,
And Hilkiah the priest, and Ahikam, and Achbor, and Shaphan, and Asaiah, went to the prophetess Huldah (Hebr. Choldah), the wife of Shallum, the son of Tikvah, the son of Harhas, keeper of the wardrobe, who lived in Jerusalem in the Second Quarter, and they spoke with her. [The name Hulda is the feminine form of Hebr. choled, which is the word for weasel, the basic meaning of which has to do with being quick and nimble. Hulda is also mentioned in .]
And the king commanded Hilkiah (Hebr. Chilqijaho), the high priest, and the other priests and gatekeepers to bring out and carry away from the house of the Lord (Yahweh) all the vessels that were made for Baal and for Asherah [idol worship] and for the hosts of heaven (the demonic powers). And he burned them outside Jerusalem in the field of Kidron and carried the ashes to Bethel.
And even those who practiced divination through mediums and spiritists and household gods (figurines – Hebr. teraphim) and household gods and all the abominable things that were seen in the land of Judah and in Jerusalem, Josiah (Hebr. Joshijahos) removed them, to confirm the words of instruction that were written in the scroll that Hilkiah (Hebr. Chilqijaho), the priest, found in the house of the Lord (Yahweh).
Shallum became the father of Hilkiah (Hebr. Chilqijaho) and Hilkiah became the father of Azariah.
and Azariah, son of Hilkiah (Hebr. Chilqijaho), son of Meshullam, son of Zadok, son of Meraioth, son of Ahitub, prince of the house of God,
They went to Hilkiah the high priest (Hebr. Chilqijaho) and gave him the money that had been brought into the house of God, which the Levites who guarded the threshold had collected from Manasseh, Ephraim, and all the rest of Israel, as well as from all Judah and Benjamin and the inhabitants of Jerusalem.
When they took out the money that had been brought into the house of the Lord (Yahweh), the priest Hilkiah (Hebr. Chilqijaho) found the Torah scroll of the Lord (Yahweh) that had been given through Moses.
Then Hilkiah (Hebr. Chilqijaho) said to the scribe Shafan, "I have found the Torah scroll in the house of the Lord (Yahweh)." Hezekiah gave the book to Shafan.
The scribe Shafan also told the king, "The priest Hilkiah (Hebr. Chilqijaho) has given me a book." And Shafan read from it before the king.
And the king commanded Hilkiah (Hebr. Chilqijaho) and Ahikam, Shafan's son, and Abdon, Mic.'s son, and the scribe Shafan, and Asaiah, the king's servant, saying,
And Hilkiah (Hebr. Chilqijaho) and those whom the king had appointed went to the prophetess Huldah (Hebr. Choldah), the wife of Shallum, the keeper of the wardrobe, who was the son of Tokehat, the son of Hasrah. She lived in Jerusalem, in the New City. And they spoke to her as they had been instructed. His princes also gave freely to the people and to the priests and Levites. Hilkiah (Hebr. Chilqijaho), Zechariah, and Jehiel, the princes of the house of God, gave the priests 2,600 lambs and kids and 300 bulls for the Passover sacrifice.

Seraja, son of Hilkia (Hebr. Chilqijaho), son of Meshullam, son of Tsadoq, son of Merajot, son of Ahitub, prince of the house of God,
