He reigned three years in Jerusalem, and his mother's [queen mother's] name was Maacah, the daughter of Avishalom. [In 2 Chron. 13:2 her name is spelled Mikaja.]
He reigned in Jerusalem forty-one years, and the name of his grandmother (mother/grandmother – Hebr. im) [name of the queen mother; Abijah's mother, see verse 2] was Maacah, the daughter of Abishalom.
