Gerasenon.
And they came to the other side of the sea, to the region of the Gerasenes.

And when was exiting He out of the boat, immediately met with Him out of the tombs a man with a spirit unclean,

who the dwelling had in the tombs. And not even with a chain no longer anyone was able him to bind,

to have been shattered,,

because that he often with shackles and with chains to have been bound, and to have been torn in two by him the chains, and the shackles to have been shattered, and no one was able him to subdue.

And through all [times] night and day in the tombs and in the mountains he was crying out and cutting himself with stones.

fell on his knees

And having seen Jesus from afar, he ran and fell on his knees before Him.

κράξας

ὑψίστου;
Most High??
ypsistoy;
βασανίσῃς.
may torment..

And having cried in a voice loud, he spoke, What to me and to You, Jesus, Son of God the Most High? I adjure You by God, not me may torment.

He was saying

ἔξελθε

ἀνθρώπου.¶

He was saying for to him, do come forth you spirit unclean, out of the man!

ἐπηρώτα
He was asking

And He was asking him, What [is] [the] name of you? And he says, to him, Legion [is] name to Me, because many we are.

he was begging

He may send

And he was begging Him numerous times that not them He may send out of the country.

feeding..

There was now there, near the hill, a herd of pigs great feeding.

παρεκάλεσαν
they begged

λέγοντες·
saying,,
legontes.
εἰσέλθωμεν.
let us enter..
eiselthomen.
And they begged Him, saying, do send us into the pigs, so that into them let us enter.

ἐπέτρεψεν
He allowed

ἐξελθόντα
having gone out,,

And He allowed them. And having gone out, the spirits unclean entered into the pigs, and rushed the herd down the steep bank into the sea, about two thousand, and they were drowned in the sea.

And those feeding them fled and proclaimed [it] to the city and to the country. And they went out to see what it is that having happened

they were afraid..

And they come to Jesus and see the [man] being demonised sitting, clothed and sound minded, the [one] who having had the legion; and they were afraid.

And related to them those having seen [it] how it happened to the [one] being demonised, and concerning the pigs.

And they began to implore Him to depart from the region of them.

ἐμβαίνοντος

And when climbing He into the boat, was begging Him the [one] having been possessed by demons, that with Him he may be.

ἀφῆκεν
He did permit

had mercy on

And not He did permit him, but He says to him, do go to the home of you, to your own, and do declare to them as much as the Lord for you has done and had mercy on you.

Dekapolei
ἐθαύμαζον.¶
were marveling..
ethaymazon.
And he departed and began to proclaim in the Decapolis how much did for him Jesus; and all were marveling.

And when was crossing Jesus in the boat again to the other side, was gathered a crowd great to Him, and He was beside the sea.

ἀρχισυναγώγων,
synagogue rulers,,

And comes one of the synagogue rulers, named Jairus, and having seen Him, falls at the feet of Him

may you lay

and he begs Him much, saying that, The little daughter of me at the end is holding, that, having come, may you lay the hands on her, so that she may be cured, and she may live.

And He departed with him. And was following Him a crowd great, and were pressing in on Him.

And a woman, being with a flux of blood twelve years,

ὠφεληθεῖσα
having benefited,,

ἐλθοῦσα,
having come,,

and much having suffered under many physicians, and having spent the of her all, and in no way having benefited, but rather to the worse having come,

having come up

having heard concerning Jesus, having come up in the crowd behind, she touched the clothing of Him.

ἔλεγεν
She was saying
elegen
ἅψωμαι
I shall touch

σωθήσομαι.¶
I will be healed..
sothesomai.
She was saying for that, If I shall touch even the garments of Him, I will be healed.
29 ἐξηράνθη
was dried up
exeranthe
ἴαται
she has been healed
iatai
μάστιγος.¶
affliction..
mastigos.
And immediately was dried up the flow of the blood of her, and she knew in the body that she has been healed from the affliction.
30 ἐπιγνοὺς
having known

ἐξελθοῦσαν,
having gone forth,,

ἐπιστραφεὶς
having turned
epistrapheis
ἔλεγεν·
was saying
elegen.
ἱματίων;¶
garments??
imation;
And immediately Jesus, having known in Himself the out of Him power having gone forth, having turned in the crowd, was saying Who of Me touched the garments?
31 μαθηταὶ
disciples

συνθλίβοντά
pressing in on

And were saying to Him the disciples of Him, You see the crowd pressing in on You, and say You, Who Me touched?
32 περιεβλέπετο
He was looking around

ποιήσασαν.¶

And He was looking around to see the [one who] this having done.

φοβηθεῖσα
having been frightened

τρέμουσα,
trembling,,

εἰδυῖα
having known

fell down

ἀλήθειαν.¶

And the woman, having been frightened and trembling, having known what has been done to her, came and fell down before Him and told Him all the truth.

And He said to her, daughter, the faith of you has healed you; do go in peace and do be healthy from the affliction of you.

ἀπέθανεν·
is dead;;
apethanen.

trouble you

Teacher??

Still when He is speaking, they come from the ruler of synagogue’s [house], saying that, The daughter of You is dead; why still trouble you the Teacher?

ἀρχισυναγώγῳ·
ruler of the synagogue,,
archisynagogo.
πίστευε.
do believe..
pisteye.
And Jesus, having ignored the word spoken, says to the ruler of the synagogue, Not do fear; only do believe.

And not He allowed no one with Him to follow, except only Peter and James and John the brother of James.

wailing

And they come to the house of the ruler of the synagogue, and He beholds a commotion, and weeping and wailing much.
39 εἰσελθὼν
having entered,,

θορυβεῖσθε
make you commotion

ἀπέθανεν
is dead,,

καθεύδει.
sleeps..
katheydei.
And having entered, He says to them, Why make you commotion and weep? The child not is dead, but sleeps.

takes with [Him]

enters in

And they were laughing at Him. He then, having put out all, takes with [Him] the father of the child, and the mother, and those with Him, and enters in where was the child.

Little girl,,
korasion,
And when taking of the hand of the child, He says to her, Talitha, koum! Which is, being translated, O Little girl, to you I say, do arise

περιεπάτει·
was walking;;

they were overcome

ἐκστάσει
with amazement
ekstasei
And immediately arose the girl and was walking; she was for of years twelve. And they were overcome immediately with amazement great.
43 διεστείλατο
He instructed

δοθῆναι
to be given

φαγεῖν.¶
to eat..

And He instructed to them strictly that no one may know this; and He commanded to be given to her to eat.
