saying, On Moses’ seat sat down the scribes and the Pharisees.

they shall tell

They speak

All things therefore, as much as if they shall tell you, do perform and do observe After however the works of them, not do perform. They speak for, and not act.

They tie up now burdens heavy and hard to bear and lay [them] on the shoulders of men; themselves however, with the finger of them, not are they willing to move them.

and the greetings in the marketplaces, and to be called by men, Rabbi.

Teacher,,

you however not may be called Rabbi; One for is of you the Teacher, all now you brothers are.

καλέσητε

οὐράνιος.
in heaven..
oyranios.
And father no [one] may call of you on the earth; One for is of you the Father, who [is] in heaven.

κληθῆτε
may be called

καθηγηταί,
instructors,,

καθηγητὴς

Χριστός.
Christ..
Christos.
Neither may be called instructors, since instructor of you is One, the Christ.
11 μείζων
the greatest

διάκονος.

diakonos.
And the greatest among you will be your servant.
12 ταπεινωθήσεται,
will be humbled,,

will be exalted..

He who then will exalt himself will be humbled, and whoever will humble himself will be exalted.

Woe however to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you shut up the kingdom of the heavens before men; You for neither enter, nor even those entering do you allow to go in.

Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you traverse the sea and the dry [land] to make one convert, and when he may become [so], you make him a son of hell twofold more than yourselves.

Woe to you, guides blind, you who [are] saying, Who[ever] maybe may swear by the temple, nothing it is; who[ever] however maybe may swear by the gold of the temple is bound by his oath.

Foolish and blind! Which for greater is, the gold, or the temple which is sanctifying the gold?

θυσιαστηρίῳ,

ὀφείλει.
he is bound by his oath..

And [you say], Who[ever] maybe shall swear by the altar, nothing it is; who[ever] however maybe shall swear by the gift that [is] upon it, he is bound by his oath.

You blind men!!

You blind men! Which for [is] greater, the gift, or the altar which is sanctifying the gift?

The [one] therefore having sworn by the altar swears by it and by all things that [are] upon it.

Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you pay tithes of mint, and dill, and cumin; and you have neglected the weightier [matters] of the law: justice and mercy and faithfulness. These now it was necessary to do, those not to be leaving aside.

Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you resemble tombs whitewashed, which outwardly indeed appear beautiful. Inside however they are full of bones of [the] dead, and of all impurity.

Thus also, you outwardly indeed appear to men righteous, inwardly however you are full of hypocrisy and lawlessness.

Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you build the tombs of the prophets and adorn the monuments of the righteous;

and you say, If we were in the days of the fathers of us, not then would we were ourselves being with them partakers in the blood of the prophets.

Thus you bear witness to yourselves that sons you are of those having murdered the prophets.
