Answered Jesus and said to her, If you had known the gift of God, and who it is who is saying to you, do give Me to drink, you then would you have asked Him, and gave [He] would then to you water living.

Answered Jesus and said to her, Everyone who is drinking of water this will thirst again;

who[ever] however maybe may drink of the water that I will give to him, never not will thirst, to the age. Instead, the water that I will give to him will become in him a spring of water, welling up into life eternal.

Says to Him the woman, Sir, do give me this water, that not I may thirst, nor I may come here to draw.

He says to her, do go, do call the husband of you and do come here.

Answered the woman and said to Him Not I have a husband. Says to her Jesus, Correctly you have spoken that, A husband not I have.

Five for husbands you have had, and now he whom you have, not is your husband; this truly you have spoken.

Says to Him the woman, Sir, I understand that a prophet are You.
20 προσεκύνησαν,

The fathers of us on mountain this worshiped, and you say that in Jerusalem is the place where to worship it is necessary.

Says to her Jesus, do believe Me, woman, that is coming an hour when neither on mountain this, nor in Jerusalem, will you worship the Father.

You worship what not you know; we worship what we know, for salvation of the Jews is.
23 ἔρχεται

ἀληθείᾳ·

But is coming an hour and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; also for the Father such seeks, who worship Him.

Spirit God [is], and those worshiping Him in spirit and truth it behooves to worship.

He will tell

Says to Him the woman, I know that Messiah is coming, who is called Christ; when may come He, He will tell us all things.
26Says to her Jesus, I am [He], who is speaking to you.

He was speaking;;

seek You??

And upon this came the disciples of Him, and were amazed that with a woman He was speaking; no one however said, What seek You? Or Why speak You with her?

Left then the water pot of her the woman, and went away into the city, and says to the men,

Come, do see a man who told me all things as much as I did. not any this is the Christ?

They went forth out of the city and were coming unto Him.

But in the meantime were asking Him the disciples, saying, Rabbi, do eat.
32 But He said to them, I food have to eat that you not know.

[anything] to eat??

Were saying therefore the disciples to one another, No one did bring to Him [anything] to eat?

In for this the saying is true that, One is who is sowing, and another [is] the [one] who is reaping.

εἰσεληλύθατε.
have entered..

I sent you to reap what not you have toiled for; others have toiled, and you into the labor of them have entered.

Out of now the city that, many believed in Him of the Samaritans, because of the word of the woman testifying that, He told me all things whatever I did.

When therefore came to Him the Samaritans, they were asking Him to abide with them, and He stayed there two days.

And many more believed, because of the word of Him;

After then the two days, He went forth from there into Galilee.

He came therefore again to Cana of Galilee, where He had made the water wine. And there was a certain royal official whose son was sick in Capernaum.

He may come down

He was about

ἀποθνῄσκειν.
to die..

He, having heard that Jesus had come out of Judea into Galilee, went to Him and was asking that He may come down and may heal his son; he was about for to die.
48 ἴδητε,
you [people] may see,,

πιστεύσητε.
shall you believe..
pisteysete.
Said therefore Jesus to him, If not signs and wonders you [people] may see, no not shall you believe.
49 βασιλικός·
royal official,,
basilikos.
κατάβηθι
do come down

Says to Him the royal official, Sir, do come down before to die the child of me.

ἐπίστευσεν
Believed

ἐπορεύετο.
he was going on his way..

Says to him Jesus, do go, the son of you lives. Believed the man in the word that said to him Jesus, and he was going on his way.

καταβαίνοντος
is going down,,

Already then when he is going down, the servants of him met with him, saying that the boy of him lives.

ἐπύθετο
He inquired

He inquired therefore the hour from them in which better he got. They said therefore to him that, Yesterday at hour seventh, left him the fever.

Knew therefore the father that [it was] in that [very] hour at which said to him Jesus, The son of You lives. And he believed himself, and the household of him all.

This [is] now again [the] second sign did Jesus, having come out of Judea into Galilee.
